The first time I heard this song was back in February when Robbie played it for AJ, Patris, and me. I only heard it twice but the song moved me so much that I later found myself singing the parts that I remembered.

This song is deeply personal yet universal. It summed up what I was going through at that time. I had just celebrated a milestone birthday and I was never more unsure about my future. Yet on that February night among dear friends, He met me with this song about faithfulness.

Robbie is, no doubt, an anointed musician and songwriter but his songs are only a glimpse of his relationship with Jesus. I honor him for the way he lives his life for the Lord. The way he is outside of music ministry is probably his most inspiring worship-leading.

I pray that with this song, Jesus meets with you and I pray that like Robbie, we continue to meet with and seek out Jesus in everything that we do and in whatever situations we are in.

Praise God for such a beautiful night. With our hearts and voices lifted high, we praised Him as one faith, one voice, one people.

If you weren’t able to come, here’s a piece of the worship night where we all worshiped to our God. As one family united through God, we worshiped to Him, and lifted our brothers and sisters who were not there with us physically, but spiritually and through prayers. No matter what creed or denomination, we are His people.

If it weren’t for the grace of God, this night would have never happened. He truly did fill the place with His love and with the Most Holy Spirit.

One Faith, One Night, One Worship.

It was not a concert, nor was it a performance. Friday night was a worship filled with people who came for the Lord. The fire and passion was alive as the Spirit dwelled in the hearts of those who attended.

It’s a beautiful blessing to have seen so many people giving their all, laying it all down and just worshiping God with their whole hearts. People’s arms were in the air, their voices were being lifted high, and all this for the glory and honor of our God. It’s amazing how one night can bring so many different people together just for one purpose: our God.

Though An Evening of Worship may be over, do not fret, friends. You don’t need an event to awaken yourself to want to build a relationship with Him. All you need is the faith and trust in Him, and everything will fall into place.

You never know, there may be An Evening of Worship pt. 2 coming in our futures. (: If it happens, will you be there? This will not be the last time you will be hearing from this, for our plan is for you to still have a way to see the goodness in this world through God, even if it’s through this Tumblr.

Despite everything that may have happened in the past, we have to continue walking forward with Him. There is no need for fear, doubt, worry or anxiety. God promised that He will take care of us, and all we have to do is walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). Why dwell in the past, and why wait for the future? God gives us the perfect opportunity to move in the present moment. Like the song says, there is only now, so seize it!

The Holy Trinity is calling us to pursue His perfect love, will you answer the call? He wants us to live a life with Him, and He wants us to continue walking with Him. The Lord did everything that He did, He endured all the suffering, pain and heartache because He loves us. His love will always prevail, and because of that we should not be afraid to keep moving forward, with Him.

Let the Holy Spirit move you on April 29th!

“Worship is a simple heart to heart connection. My heart to God’s heart and God’s heart to my heart” - Joel Houston

By definition, the word “worship” usually means to idolize, or to show devotion. But when it comes to worshiping God through singing, words don’t surmount. Words can never come close to defining what worship is, but your heart can.

It’s your heart being lifted high, and knowing that our God is listening. It’s the moment, when you realize that it’s not your mouth singing the words, but your heart lifting a shout of praise. It’s the moment you realize the same Holy Spirit that was with the Apostles thousands of years ago, is dwelling amongst the congregation in the present time. It’s knowing that your deepest desires for the Lord are exposed right in front of you, and you don’t mind at all. Worship is allowing you, to be vulnerable and free to be exactly who God made you to be.

Every single breath you take, every step that you take, every success and every failure has been in the plan God designed and tailored specifically for you. So why not turn it all back around and use it to glorify Him?

Do not fear, and do not let our society shake you down from where you stand in your faith. It may be hard, but trust, it’s easier when you’re not alone. But..that’s the beautiful part, you aren’t alone. God will never forget you, and in all actuality, you are always on His mind. He loves you like you are the only one, and He will always love you. After all, He did give up His only son for us to have a life with Him.

We will not be shaken. Stand firm and show the world, and especially our God how much you love Him on April 29th.

The Evening of Worship is this week! Are you all ready?!

As promised, here is another song that we will be praising our God with this Friday. This one in particular is a prayer about faith. In a world of condescending actions, we, as His people should rise up and put our trust in Him. He calls us to do work for Him that may seem impossible to accomplish on a daily basis, however, we must approach it with fearless faith! Jesus called St. Peter to walk on water with Him, but the moment St. Peter started doubting, he began to sink. Though we may all feel weak, or feel that we don’t have the bandwidth to accomplish the tasks that the Lord gives us, we have to approach it with faith. Faith in knowing that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phil. 4:13), and faith in knowing that He gives you things that may seem too difficult because He that much faith in you. Do not fret! Christ has, and always will be on our side.

All we need is faith. Let yours rise like incense on April 29th!

Happy Easter!

He felt the weight of the world on His shoulders, endured persecution, was scourged at a pillar, had His skull pierced by a crown of thorns, He was spat on, whipped, carried a cross for miles, had 3 nails pierced in His hands and feet, and hung on a cross to die for our sins, all because He loves you.

Today marks the day that Jesus has risen from the dead. However, today is not a day meant to be sulking, nor is it a day meant to indulge in all the things that we may have given up for lent. Today is a day of celebration worthy of a King. Today, we are called to rise above all the materialistic things of this world, and embrace the salvation and victory that was won for us by His life, death and resurrection.

As the Evening of Worship comes closer, let us all continue to celebrate the victory that Jesus won (and continues to win) when He rose from the dead 2000 years ago. It’s the perfect time to declare your faith, and worship the Lord for everything He has done for you.

As The Evening of Worship approaches, and we’d like to introduce to you all one of the prayers that we will be worshiping to. Learn it, and get the jest of the song so that when it comes to the night, we can all fully lift everything up as one faith, and as one people.

This particular song is an original, an anthem if you will, that speaks of how good our God is. It’s a prayer that says that we will follow Him, and that we will not be silenced by a world that says that we’re alone. An anthem that says that we, altogether as His people will stay united under Him and that His love will lead us. We, declaring by faith affirm that He is here with us forever and always. As His children, we seek to be the difference by telling our stories of how we experience The Greatest Story ever told.

Of course, this is only how we translate it (for lack of a better word). It’s up to you to understand and personalize what it means for you, to God.

PRAISE GOD!

Immaculate Heart Radio and Air1 Christian Radio are on board with helping us promote the Evening of Worship. Truly, God is moving to make this spectacular event happen, and He’s making a statement too!

There may be some buzz around what the night of the 29th has entailed for everyone, but let us tell you, this is not a concert, nor is this a performance. This night is all about coming just as you are, and letting go of all your inhibitions. It’s all about laying it all down before the Lord and worshiping Him in all His power and majesty as one people, one faith and on one night. What better way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus?

The Holy Spirit will be there, will you? Join us on April 29th, 6:30PM @ St. John the Baptist Hall, we’re looking forward to uniting with you to worship Him.

In today’s Gospel we heard about The Lord’s Passion....

In today’s Gospel we heard about The Lord’s Passion. How Jesus had His last supper with His disciples the night of His arrest, we heard of how Jesus said that one of the 12 would deny Him three times before the cock crowed, and we also learned of how another one of His beloved friends would betray Him.

Jesus was betrayed by Judas of Iscariot with a simple kiss on the cheek. The 30 pieces of silver, and the fame and glory of knowing that the chief priests knew that it was him who turned the Lord in were his motivations, but in the end, Judas of Iscariot realized His wrong doings. He regretted his betrayal, returned the 30 pieces of silver saying “I have sinned in betraying innocent blood,” and went off and hung himself.

There have probably been many times in our lives when we have more than likely been Judas to Jesus. Times that we may have denied the Lord because we wanted things of this world, things that glorified who we think we are instead of the person we are to Jesus Christ. But let’s all take a step back and think, are the things of this world worth the self-glorified motivations that tear you away from God? Or would you rather rise above and do what you can to glorify Him?

The things of this world are temporary and of the moment, however, whatever is of God is eternal. Fame and glory only lasts for a lifetime, and no matter how many times one can be tempted by others and carnal pleasures, our eyes should always be kept on what we truly want and believe, which is God. His love is eternal, His love is everlasting and most of all, His love is unconditional.

Worship Him in spirit and truth on April 29th!

Every life is beautiful, including yours!

Do you remember the days when you were a child? You had no restrictions, and the world was yours for the taking! There’s a beauty that children hold, a light that is illuminated by a certain innocence and pure heart that they give off. Their humility, faith, love and their willingness to know and love God is beyond amazing. They know how to forgive and forget, and they know how to love in the most beautiful ways.

Growing up, we sometimes become bound to the world, and the things of it. We sometimes let pride get in the way and drift away from the Lord, but it doesn’t always have to be like that. If you lay it all down, and get to the heart of who you truly are, you’ll see the innocence, faith and unconditional love that God instilled within you. After all, you are His child and He made you in His perfect image.

No matter how many times you may have turned away from Him, you are worthy of His love. Come just as you are, and lift your heart up to Him, in whatever condition it may be in. Stand still, put your trust in Him and let Him be God. Then you’ll see a changed heart revealed to you. One that has been renewed and restored with the capacity to love greater than you could ever imagined. And with that revelation, you’ll see that He makes all things new.

Come as you are, and make your declaration on April 29.
